100% agree Ken. I feel like the ones who fail with periods of sobriety are the ones who go into it with a bad attitude. Those that think they can't have fun without alcohol, or that they can't socialise, or whatever excuse they put onto alcohol. And instead of enjoying the sober moment, they simply count down the days until they can next have a drink! While I don't believe people need a "reason" to quit drinking, they do need more of a reason than a social media trend (i.e. Dry January or Sober October)! Thanks for the article!
